The Roxbury Trails Committee is looking for a person or group to walk these trails each season, which is a perfect way to give back to the community while enjoying a walk through nature.
These trails are easily maintained; it’s a level walk totaling one mile. The trails follow streams and the Black River Pond, and one usually will see turtle and swans. Requirements for maintaining the trails would be clipping back overgrowth, removal of fallen branches, and picking up trash. Bigger issues like fallen trees or graffiti would need to be reported to the Rox Trails Committee.
